The Online Wedding Gift Registry

David and Jørgen's Online Wedding Gift Registry

The Scoop:

Developed in 2004, David (Canadian) and Jørgen (Danish) are based in Denmark and have friends and family coming from across the globe to celebrate their official union. They needed an online bi-lingual, very user friendly, gift registry that conformed to the theme of their wedding party while providing a way for people in many different countries to avoid buying them the same toaster. David or Jørgen had to be able to easily add gift ideas to the list, and people had to be able to change their mind once they had selected an item. Friendly and easy was the theme!

The site is no longer in use of course, since the wedding was years ago, but remains on my server for the sake of this portfolio. The design was coded up in strict XHTML and CSS with lots of ASP Classic in the back end, including multi-level password protection, and bi-lingual coorespondance.
